School’s out! Summer vacation is here heheheh. Like finally finally, I’ve been waiting for this day for so damn long. Looking back, even tho school was so tiring at times, this semester was pretty enjoyable (partly because of the good timetable which i confirm would not be able to get next term) EXCEPT for the huge load of information and concepts I tried to put into my brain when studying. Difficult difficult theories noooo. I think I.. deserve this break :) Kinda worried about my results but it’s okay!!! Can’t rlly do much about it nowz
And i realized that I’m no longer a freshie :(

Taking a break from studying tomorrow’s paper. This module is such a torture, really. Enjoyed my tutor’s lessons but my content is just not there. Friends were discussing over whatsapp and I know shit abt what they discussed. I gave up halfway and shut all the notifications because I know I would break down if I continue with the conversation. I don’t want to screw this paper up entirely because I don’t want to screw up my chances of getting into an exchange next semester but at the same time, I just want to pass this module safely. Just going to try my best and pray hard that everything would be fine. Go me.
As humans we are taught and conditioned to behave as though we have everything together — even when we don’t. We get so caught up in our daily life that we have a tendency to forget, everyone has faults that they hide and try to avoid acknowledging. No one is perfect, no matter how perfect they seem. Not even that one girl you know with a fashion blog — we’re all human. It’s okay. Just do what you have to do, and
don’t worry about anyone else. It’s okay if you didn’t get an A this time on that paper. It’s alright to eat that red velvet cupcake and not count the carbs sometimes. You’re not lazy for sleeping in on Sunday morning — sometimes your body needs the extra sleep. Don’t be so hard on yourself. It doesn’t matter whether you’re studying English Literature, Theology, Economics, or Biology. The message is the same. You are smart, you belong, and you’ve worked hard to get where you are. Don’t ever doubt yourself, or allow the presence of someone whether it be a pseudo intellectual or a supermodel to change your opinion of yourself. You are what you believe you are. The Sufi poet Saadi once said, “Human beings are members of a whole, in creation of one essence and soul.”
